Cherry Township’s new Polling Location

Posted on May 1, 2021

Effective January 1, 2021, Cherry Township will no longer be utilizing the Moniteau High School building to cast ballots in either the Primary Election in the spring, or the General Election in the fall. Due to circumstances involving security and safety for the students, as well as COVID-19 restrictions, it was determined by everyone involved that the Township should be provided with a new polling location. The Butler County Election Bureau has been searching for a new location that is appropriate for voting, and one that meets the qualifications set forth by State law. After months of deliberation and interviewing, the Election Bureau has obtained the following location for Cherry Township to conduct election polling. Our first time using this location will be on May 18, 2021.

North Trails Country Public Library
1553 West Sunbury Road
West Sunbury, PA 16061

The Cherry Township Board of Supervisors would like to express its thanks to the Library for allowing our residents to utilize their building for such an important purpose. We are also asking that, when going to the library to cast your ballots, you be thoughtful and considerate of the Library property and facilities. There are not many places in Cherry Township that can accommodate the needs of our residents for this vital activity.  Respect is of the utmost importance in order that the Election Bureau can continue to facilitate our voting
privileges at the North Trails Library.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Yeager at the Township office. Once again, we are counting on everyone who casts a vote in Cherry Township to respect our polling location and the facilities provided to us.

Sincerely,

CHERRY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Frank Fritz, Chairman
David Mishler, Vice Chairman
William Smith, Road Master
