Driveway Permits
Driveway permits are required on Township roads only. If you plan to install a driveway on a State Highway, you must obtain a permit from PennDot. Contact the District 10 office of PennDot for further information and direction. 724-422-1116.
For Township roadways, application for a permit must be delivered or e-mailed to the Township for approval and comments. The fee for the permitting process is $40.00 and must accompany the application. Applications may be dropped off at the Township Municipal Building at 2019 West Sunbury Road, e-mailed to Cherrytwp@zoominternet.net, or mailed to P.O. Box 387, West Sunbury, PA 16061.
